IFP member calls for the decriminalisation of Marijuana
The debate on the President’s State of the Nation Address took a reflective mood on Wednesday. Ailing IFP member, Mario Ambrossini pleaded with government to legalise medical marijuana for the treatment of cancer. Ambrosini suffers from a rare form of lung cancer, and hopes to access medical marijuana as an alternative treatment. His plea was in stark contrast to most opposition members who once again criticised the President’s address.
